For a new/demo installation:

Please note that the extVIEW demo is fully-functional, but limited to 10 entries max.

• 1. Download and run the extVIEW_Setup.exe setup program on your web server.
  
  
• 2. Setup will attempt to create a new IIS virtual directory for extVIEW automatically during installation. If it cannot do so, one will need to be created manually via IIS Manager. See extVIEW_Readme.htm for additional details.
  
  
• 3. Open the extVIEW.ini configuration file (located in the extVIEW program folder) in a text editor and modify the default [System] parameters.

To update an existing installation:

Please note that the following update files will only work properly if extVIEW version 2.30 or later is currently installed. If a version earlier than 2.30 is installed, you will need to uninstall extVIEW and download/run the newest setup program above.

• 1. Stop IIS temporarily to release the existing extVIEW program files and to ensure that no users access them during the update process.
  
  
• 2. Download the extVIEW.dll and extVIEW_Update.bat files below to the extVIEW program folder on your web server, overwriting the existing extVIEW.dll file.
  
  
• 3. Run extVIEW_Update.bat as Administrator from the extVIEW program folder. You should see the message "DllRegisterServer in c:\...\extVIEW\extVIEW.dll succeeded."
